Sugar is a song about falling for someone (or something), and then losing your nerve and creating a surrogate fantasy to get caught up in instead of who (or what) exists in the messy real world. It was a common pattern in my dating life and I still see it manifesting in other forms for me: in art, in career, just in day-to-day existing. The song is challenge to break through that pattern.

Ghost in the Night is a story about a couple who finds themselves having to deal with an unplanned pregnancy. 100% of Bandcamp sales will go to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund www.plannedparenthoodaction.org to help fight for laws and policies that protect access to health care.
